Perhaps a Glimpse of the Near Future
So last night I had a pretty strange dream. As it began, I was in a classroom at U of I, though I’ve never seen it physically, it just manifested itself in my mind. The room is a large oval with tiers of desks on one side and a stage, where the professor was lecturing, on the other. It was some kind of general science class, but the name escapes me. Sam was there, but it was crowded and we couldn’t sit next to each other.
After class I descended a short hill, only to find a monstrous trampoline on the other side, roughly 100 meters in diameter, upon which some people were playing whiffle ball. I joined in and had a fantastic time. At one point I did a sideways roll the entire length of the trampoline and flipped off, at which many gazed in awe and prompting a freshman to say, “Dude, that was sick!”
